Can't wait for school to start again!
Gahhh i’m such a nerd but I just love school. There is nothing better than the stacks in Sterling Library. I’m looking forward to shopping a million interesting classes—unfortunately, the majority of the ones I like are literature, and I can’t feasibly take more than one or two of those out of my five. So stoked—epics, neuroscience, french, fairy tales,...

Reflections
I feel like there’s not enough time. I need to use my time more effectively. I haven’t done enough, nearly enough. I need to make more, do more, challenge myself. Because right now, I am not doing enough. I just need to push myself more. I’m disappointed by how I’ve let myself down, how I’ve not made enough art, succeeded enough. I’m 18 and I need more to show I...

Had a skype chat with one of my best friends (Josy, she lives in France) which was so great as I haven’t talked to her in ages. Legitimately just sat here all day and read my book—i love getting lost in novels. The book was “The Observations” by Jane Harris—I always end up finding more interesting books in Ireland. So yes, I feel guilty that I’ve sat on my butt...
getting more and more excited for Yale!!!
awesomeness <3 <3 <3
Literary progress has been made
I now know the course of my novel from beginning to end. WOOT!
Ireland
Prologue
I am going to describe to you a town. It is mostly silent except when you’re walking outside and you hear the woosh of a car passing far out down the road (accompanied by the gleam of its headlights, which flash and then fade out of the corners of your eye, tinging the streetsides pink). Then, when you’re inside, all you hear at night is the soft howl of wind against the walls, and,...

update
I find out my roommates for next year today—ahhh college is becoming more and more real! In other news, I leave for Ireland tonight and am blissfully awaiting 3 and a half weeks of inspiration and happiness. I am never more content than when I am sitting in the family bar (occasionally pulling a pint for the regulars) and watching people filter in and out as the day passes. I’m usually...
just finished rereading one of my all time...
Rebecca. I barely ever reread books but this is one of my top 5 favs. It’s sooo fantastic and it was just as exciting reading the second time. Now I’m off to read some Du Maurier biographies, a collection of her short stories, and then maybe Agatha Christie’s “And Then There Were None,” because my best friend is an Agatha Christie buff and keeps pushing me to read it....
wow cool someone plagiarized me
awesome
My friend Margaret visited
She’s from San Francisco, CA, and stayed a week. She just left today, but in a week we were very productive: the Cloisters, shopping, the Met, the MoMA, the Frick, a picnic on the beach, baking cakes/pies/cookies, met some of my close friends, went for the best Indian food ever, the zoo (where we saw Gus the polar bear, who was the only worthwhile thing to see there we discovered), built a...
fun day planned for tomorrow
huge shoot that my friend from California and I prepared for. We’re planning to go to the Met and then have the shoot, fun day :)
I have three big shoots up my sleeve
they just might take a while because they are more elaborate than usual…
UGH
I spent forever setting up my set for my photoshoot and then the wind came, which caused my backdrop to fall down over all of it and knock it down. Now i have to rebuild for another few hours GAHHH
PS: my friend Margaret from California is coming tomorrow yayy! Staying with me for a week.

After tonsssss of deliberation...
I finally know where I’m going next year! I’ve decided I’m going to be a bulldog!
Yale 2015. Boola boola!
I am so indecisive, so this was one of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to do. I was torn between several schools that had won my heart, but out of all of them, Yale seems the place for me. It has an extremely artsy culture, which I obviously find very...
Just a random fact about me...
2 of my absolute favorite books ever:
1) His Dark Materials Trilogy
2) Picture of Dorian Gray
Anyone have favorite books, or reading suggestions? These books have been my favorites for years, I’d like to add some more to my favorites repertoire (you can see a longer list of my favorites on my info page on flickr)…
Name them!
I most definitely have atelophobia.

BORED
I am rarely bored but I am today. In an hour or so going out for an early dinner with Licia and then hanging out with the boyfriend later tonight.
